The Barbados Port Inc. is the main seaport of entry, supporting travel and trade between Barbados and the world. The Port of Bridgetown acts as a focal point, sustaining the import/export trade and the island’s tourism cruise industry.

The varied berthing spots in our Deep Water Harbour and Shallow Draught are able to accommodate mega cruise ships and container vessels to name a few. Our strategic location, state-of-the-art facilities and outstanding customer service has not only won Barbados the Multi-Purpose Port of the Year Award in 2018, but, with scheduled upgrades, aligns us to become a “super hub” in the Southern Caribbean.

While important, our goals do not end at providing premium service. We also pride ourselves on keeping environmental consciousness high on our list of our priorities, striving to preserve and maintain Barbados’ natural environment and heritage landmarks.
